Preschool Graduation

Addie graduated from The Little Schoolhouse Pre-k 4 program.  Her teachers were Mrs. Garcia and Ms. Michelle.  Her best friends in her class were Chloe, Ximena and Maya.  She finished preschool reading between a first and a second grade level!  We are so thankful to Mrs. Garcia for working with Addie and helping her become such a confident reader and lover of school!

Addie's 5th birthday

Addie had a wonderful 5th birthday!  She woke up to chocolate chip pancakes and birthday presents!

 

 

She was so excited to finally get a nintendo ds!

 

 She recently started reading and always loves new books!

 

 

Bryan and I brought cupcakes to her class for snack time.  She loved everyone singing happy birthday to her!

 

After school, she had her first "babysitting" gig.  Loral asked her to watch Chatham for a couple of hours.  Addie was a great babysitter and loved every second of having him there.  She was also very excited to get paid $1!

Weekend in South Padre

After our bowling party, we hopped in the car and drove to South Padre Island for the weekend.  We had lots of fun swimming, building sand castles, burying each other, jumping waves, watching fireworks, finding souveneirs and eating great food!  The kids love the beach and were sad to leave and come back to Del Rio after such a wonderful weekend!

 Grady was the only one to be thrilled to be stopped at the train tracks for a slow train to pass by!

 

The Albee's were there and we spent one day at the beach and pool with them.

Last day of school

Addie had a bowling party on her last day of school.  We had a wonderful time!  I was definitely in denial that my little girl was finished with preschool and headed towards kindergarten!
