Grady man, your daddy, Addie and I love you so much! Addie and I are both soooo excited to go get you out of bed each morning and I am sad to say that I am not sure which one of us you are more excited to see! Last year at this time, I was so worried about Addie and how she would be with a new baby and I can not put into words how it makes me feel to watch the two of you together! Your little smile breaks my heart everyday and your naughty nature keeps us laughing! We can not wait to hear your first sentence this next year, to watch you walk across the room and to see how your personality develops! Daddy and I are already so proud of you and I wish we could move forward in slow motion. Happy birthday little man...we love you!

One year
I am starting this one week before Grady's first birthday. I have to start this early because I do not think I can emotionally write it in one night...Bryan don't judge me! The months seem to fly by and I really do not know where this past year has gone. He came into this world and was the quietest, sweetest little guy and our Grady has become a "boy" in the past couple of months. He is into EVERYTHING. He is loud, throws food, spits out his milk and water, and giggles when I say no. However, if Addie so much as whispers no to him, his little lip quivers and his feelings are VERY hurt. He just worships her so much! He still loves to snuggle me and will lay his head on me and say mmmmm mmmmm. It is really cute! He can climb up a flight of stairs but doesn't quite know what to do once he is at the top. He waves to cars and people and says "hi." I have not heard mama or dada in a long time but he does often say Ada and uh oh (as he is throwing things off of his highchair tray). Update....yesterday (the 9th, he said ma ma several times and Addie was there to witness it!) He has his moments where he wants only me but he is very partial to men. He still cries when I leave him at the gym but has so much fun while I am gone! His biting has been minimized by his pacifier..but he still thinks it is funny to bite my shoulder! However, he now has to have 2 pacifiers in his crib at night and if one "falls" or is thrown out of the crib...he stands and looks at it and screams like there is no tomorrow. He stands by himself consistently and he has taken two steps alone. He loves to ride on Addie's tricycle..and may get one of his own for his birthday! He loves animals and gets so excited when he sees them. He loves to be outside and would stay outside all day if we let him. He also loves going on walks in the stroller. He is fearless when it comes to water. He puts his face under water in the bath and blows bubbles and giggles. He is really into books and will sit on my lap for a long time as long as I am reading to him! He always giggles at books that have animals in them. He still loves wheels and will find some sort of wheel in every room! He pushes cars or trains across the room and says vroom. He has 8 teeth and is working on his first molar :(. He has not had a bottle in a month and drinks all of his milk with his meals! He loves fruit and cheese and gets very upset if he does not get something that Addie has on her plate! He will say mmmm when he wants to eat something that I am eating. It doesn't matter what it is, he will eat it and continue with the mmmm. This morning, Bryan gave him some of his tamale...yes Bryan was eating tamales for breakfast. He loved it! He wears size four diapers and size 12 month or 12/18 month clothes.
