Grady

***I started this a couple of months ago and then my computer broke...I finally finished it!

This handsome guy is 2.5 and he is cuter than ever.  He still gets away with too much because of that cuteness.  He is still into everything and I always know that he is up to something when he is quiet.  He loves to play in water, with trucks and trains, the ipad, and really loves to play with anything that Addie wants or has!  His best friend is "Jaxy" and he asks for him often.  The past few weeks, he has become a little more partial to me...which I love of course!  He wants me to hold him more and he often hugs me and tells me, "my mommy."  He wakes up most mornings asking for "my foonie" which is his smoothie.  He is not very happy with me if I don't make them one day.  He also loves nutragrain bars, cinamon rolls and blueberry pancakes.  He goes to crossfit with me every day and he sits in his stroller and plays my phone.  I get compliments everyday from people saying how good he is...if only they could see him when I let him loose!  He runs everywhere he goes and he is fast!  He loves to be outside and he gets filthy every day.  I am not able to save many of his clothes...compared to the buckets and buckets I have of Addie's.

Addie was sick a few weeks ago and we were going to be homebound for a week.  I decided to bite the bullet and try and potty train Grady.  He had one accident the first day and one a week later.  He had a little fear of pooping in the potty but again had two accidents and then he got it.  I honestly can not believe how easy it was...I was very concerned because I have heard boy horror stories...but he may have been easier than Addie!   He is also keeping his pullup dry at nap time and is dry most mornings...after 13 hours of sleep!  He loves his underwear and says his favorite pair are the ones with fireturcks, helicopters and police cars on them.

3 days after Addie got sick with RSV, Grady woke up in the middle of the night with a 103 fever.  I took him in the next day and he had a severe ear infection along with a mild case of RSV.  The doctor could not believe how happy he was considering how bad his ear hurt.  They started him on an antibiotic on Friday and on Monday he still had a high fever and he was miserable.  We were able to get his antibiotic changed and he was a new guy on Wednesday.  This was his first ear infection in a year...hopefully the last for a while!

We moved into our new house a few weeks ago and Grady loves having his big closet with his toys in it.  I often hear him in there during nap time playing with his cars and trucks.  He loves his big bed and still never gets out in the mornings until I come and get him.  I can not believe my little mischevious boy follows that rule!

For some reason, strangers at the store often buy things for Grady.  It is very funny...he is very cute and I guess his little personality and adorable voice win people over....we have come home with a whistle (thanks a lot), stuffed animal, m&m's and hershey kisses in the past few months.  Addie is less than pleased.

He loves his sister and the minute we get home from picking her up at school, he begs her to go and play in her room with him.  I cringe, hoping she will say yes because the thought of his little defeated face hurts my heart.

Grady is a happy, sweet and loving little boy!  I am blessed that he is mine!
