Pumpkins

Here are a couple of pictures of Addie with some pumpkins. The sun wasn't cooperating so I could not really get a smile out of her...she was too upset that the sun was in her eyes. I will post trick or treating pictures tomorrow.

Makeup....again

This time, Daddy was on Addie duty and I hear him say, "Oh no, what is that? You had better go tell Mommy to get out her camera." So Addie watches me put on my makeup every day. She puts powder on her face and then puts some on mine. She pretends to put eyeshadow on....in the correct place! Well now she put mascara on. She actually had it on her eyelashes. I am thankful that she did not stab her eye but I think it hilarious that she knows where the makeup goes. Yesterday I watched her put the eyelash curler up to both eyes! I definitely think that we have a diva in the making!

Last night Bryan and I took Addie to the Main Street Monster Mash. We dressed her up in her Halloween costume and she looked adorable. Bryan taught her how to twirl like a ballerina and she twirled and twirled and twirled. She definitely loves to dress up and be the center of attention!

Addie is 18 months old today! Kyle called her to wish her a happy half birthday and she just grinned into the phone! She must have sensed that it was a special day for her because this morning when she got dressed, she insisted on putting on a hot pink tutu! She looked awfully cute and I think she knew it! We went to a birthday party this afternoon and Addie was thrilled to see her "big girl" friends (Morgan and Tyler) there. She immediately grabbed their hands and took them to the ice chest to get ice! She wanted to sit with them while they ate and I really think she thought she was one of them! I told my mom that Addie goes a little crazy at birthday parties because she knows that she gets juice and cake. Sure enough, soon after we arrived, Addie was hunting down the juice boxes and checking empties for one more drink! As you will see in the pictures, she enjoyed many pieces of cake....her stomach was a little larger when we left that party!

I always get nervous when I do not hear Addie making any noise...not because I worry that she is hurt. When she is very quiet, it means that she is doing something that she knows she is not supposed to do! She loves to play with my makeup but there are a couple of items that are off limits...and she knows this! So when I went to investigate the lack of noise, this is what I found.

Welcome to the Weston Family blog! I am going to begin posting pictures and videos to this site instead of the baby jelly beans site. It will be sad to close that account but I am constantly having to buy more memory from that site to keep up with my family's demanding picture and video needs! This blog is free and I will be able to post videos more easily than baby jelly beans.

Today Addie and I went to a Mom's Club Fall Festival. There was a fall background where you could take Halloween or fall pictures of your child. When we got there I took Addie over there and showed her the pumpkins and told her that she was going to sit on the bench and take a picture in a little bit. She took that as she will sit on the bench and be in every picture. Everytime I turned around, she was trying to get in on every child's picture. I would hear her say CHEE and turn and there she was on the bench again. The poor moms didn't have the heart to ask her to leave so she is in many family's fall pictures! Here are a couple of pictures that I took today. A few people told me that I needed to take her picture today so that I would have some of Addie in pants...they had never seen her in pants. Now that I think about it she is always in dresses....little girls just look so much cuter in dresses! So the leggings are documented!
