Addie's birthday

Addie had a great 4th birthday!  We were in San Antonio for the weekend and drove back on her birthday.  She received phone calls on my phone the entire way back...I joked that my phone rang so many times and not once was it for me!  She thought she was pretty special!  She had ballet that afternoon and her class sang to her!  She definitely loved the special attention. 

We had pizza and cookie cake for dinner with Buck, Nanna and Kiki.  She had been asking for a cookie cake...so we brought one home from SA and in true Addie fashion, she liked the icing but not the cookie.   On the other hand, as soon as Grady saw it, he started saying (yelling) "cootie cootie cootie" until he received his.

After dinner, she was able to open presents and she was so excited!!!  We got her a Tag reader and a couple of books for it.  We also got her the Uno Moo game and Skipbo Jr.  She LOVES both of them and wants to play them all of the time.  Grady gave her a jumprope and a tshirt.  Buck and Nanna gave her new bedding and a super cute picture for our new house as well as a new Leapfrog Explorer (Grady broke the one Santa gave her for Christmas) and a Dora game.  Kiki and T gave her an adorable swimsuit coverup and Alyssa gave her some new games for her Explorer.  She LOVED opening all of her gifts and we enjoyed watching her!

It is still hard to believe that she is 4!!!  The drama has decreased slightly but the attitude has made up for that!  It is truly hard to keep a straight face and even harder to believe that these things are coming out of a 4 year old's mouth!  She knows she is acting a bit naughty because most of the time we hear, "sorry sorry sorry" as soon as she is finished with the attitude.
